Brief IntroductionFaculty: The school was founded in 1985. Now it has 139 staff members, including 19 professors and 35 associate professors. Currently, School of Business has the largest faculty in the university, with 2700 students, offering undergraduate, master's and doctoral degree programs. Its facilities include the modern Multi-media Laboratory, the International Business Simulated Laboratory and approximate 100 Internship bases. A logistics center of experimentation was founded in 2008, including the ERP Simulative Lab and the Financial Lab and amounting to 2 million RMB was invested by Li Ao company .
DeanProf. Xiaozhong LI, PhD Majors/DisciplinesSchool of Business offers eight bachelor's degree majors, namely International Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering and Tourism Management. Other than undergraduate majors, there are master¡¯s degree programs of Business Management, International Business, Master of Business Administration and the doctoral and master's degree program of Food Culture and Trade. Research OrientationThere are several research institutes, including the Small-and-Medium-Sized Enterprise Management and Development Research Institute, the Human Resource Research Centre, the Finance Research Institute and the Energy Conservation and Cycling Economics Research Institute. Research AchievementsThe school has published more than 150 research papers and more than 10 academic works and text books each year, some of which have won awards at the state, province and ministry level.
Int'l Exchanges & CooperationThe school has been actively involved in international exchanges and cooperation and has carried out joint MBA programs with American universities, articulation programs with Monash University, Australia, University of Central Lancashire, UK. The school has worked closely with Canadian universities and colleges to carry out township enterprise management training workshops, SME business creators training, and Western China tourism industry development and research programs. The school has worked with universities in Singapore, Australian, Great Britain, Canada and America in the research field, which has resulted in high reputation and recognition. The school has undertaken three national level and more than twenty provincial level research projects. Among them, the disciplines of SME management and development have been recognized as one of the key sub-projects of the National ¡°211 project¡±.
