China is a country with a big population in the world. It's
production of alcoholic drinks is large, but due to the limiting of low
grain and cereals consumption per person, it's alcoholic drinks'
consumption per person is not high.
In Oct., 1986, Leaders of Department of Light Industry of China
announced that there would be a big change in the national development
plan for alcoholic drink industry. " The development of alcoholic
drink industry must obey the rule of "Four shifts", i. e. from the
spirit with high- percent alcohol to low; distilled liquor to
fermented alcoholic beverages; grain and cereals alcoholic liquor to
fruit wine ; from common grade to high grade.
